Fare Republic – Cancellation Policy

Every booking made through Fare Republic is subject to cancellation charges levied by the respective Airline, which may vary based on the flight, fare type, and booking class.

Fare Republic’s cancellation service charges, as mentioned on the ticket, shall be applicable in the event of a cancellation initiated by either the customer or the Airline.

Convenience fees are non-refundable in all circumstances.

Some bookings may be non-refundable as per the specific Airline’s policy.

Certain bookings may not be eligible for partial cancellation, depending on the Airline’s terms.

Cancellations can be made online via the My Booking / All Bookings section or by sending an email to Fare Republic Support.

We assist customers with various booking amendments; however, in certain cases, the customer may be required to contact the Airline directly.

Amendment charges on Fare Republic are subject to change in accordance with the Airline’s policies, which may vary based on flight schedules, fare rules, and booking class.

For cancellations requested within 24 hours of the scheduled departure, Fare Republic strongly recommends contacting the Airline directly. After that, customers must submit a cancellation request on our website for refund processing.

Fare Republic is not liable for any flight delays, cancellations, or amendments made by the Airline.

In the case of a no-show or unutilized booking, customers must request any applicable refund within 90 days from the travel date (for flight bookings) or check-in date (for hotel bookings). Requests raised after 90 days shall not be eligible for a refund, and all unclaimed amounts will be considered forfeited.

In case of an amendment by the customer leading to rescheduling of the original booking, the original booking shall stand modified and any cancellation in the original booking shall lead to cancellation in the rescheduled booking. For cancellation requests received by Fare Republic, refunds will be initiated at the earliest possible time subjected to the airline’s policy.

All refunds are strictly subject to receipt and processing of the refund amount by the respective Airline/Service Provider. Please note that convenience fees charged at the time of booking are non-refundable.

For international bookings issued under a single PNR, if the customer is marked as a no-show for the onward sector, the return sector will also be treated as a no-show as per Airline rules. Customers must contact the Airline directly before being marked as a no-show.

In case of cancellation due to any avoidable or unavoidable circumstances, customers must inform Fare Republic in writing at the earliest. All cancellations and refunds will be governed by the fare rules, cancellation policies, and timelines of the respective Airline, Hotel, Bus Operator, Tour Operator, or other Service Provider.

Note:

Written cancellation requests will only be accepted on working days. For example, a cancellation request raised on a Sunday will be considered on the next working day (Monday).

Refund or cancellation requests will not be processed during the Christmas and New Year period, i.e., from 20th December to 5th January.

If a customer chooses to cancel or discontinue the trip after it has commenced, refund eligibility will be limited and subject to the policies of Hotels and other Service Providers. Fare Republic is not obligated to refund unused hotel stays, transportation, meals, or any other unutilized components of the package.
